Today in devotions I read Genesis 19, and realized I am just like Lot’s wife! God brought me out of Sodom, but I keep looking back. It’s a wonder He hasn't turned me to dust by now. For some reason He hasn't given up on me. I can only hope that means He still has some purpose for me that I haven’t completely mucked up yet. Setting goals doesn't seem to work. I’m terrible at keeping them. When someone in the Bible sets out to do something whole heartedly, they “set their heart” to get it done. I need to set my heart on getting my heart set.
